Signature Events

Each semester there are a variety of events and opportunities that both the FSL Office and the student led, Fraternity and Sorority Life Council plan for the FSL community to participate in.  Scroll down to see some of them!

Northeast Greek Leadership Association Conference

Every February, nominated members from our FSL community attend NGLA. Delegates attend the conference free of charge and are able to network with other students and professionals, bring valuable information back to the BSU campus and develop their leadership and professional skills.

Greek Leadership and Development Program (GLAD)

Students in the FSL community can apply/be nominated to participate in GLAD which is a 6 week Leadership Development program.  Throughout the program students will explore their strengths as a leader and learn skills like conflict management, advocacy and communication.

Greek Week

Every April the Fraternity and Sorority Life Council plans Greek Week for all our FSL chapters to participate in.  This week consists of games, service events and the annual lip sync battle.  At the end of the week there is a Greek Week winner that is announced!

Greeksgiving

This event is hosted by the Fraternity and Sorority Life Leadership Council every November for the entire FSL community.  Greeksgiving is a chance for FSL members to form community together and have some yummy food!

Annual FSL Award Ceremony

Every year, the FSL office plans an award ceremony to highlight chapters and members amazing accomplishments throughout the year.  Names of each award recipient are then added to plaques in the FSL office!

Pancakes with FSL

This event is hosted by the Fraternity and Sorority Life Leadership Council during BSU Kick Off week each year.  This event is a chance for students to learn more about the FSL community at BSU and eat some yummy food!
