Summer NASA Space Grants are BACK!
Are you ready to dig in and work on a summer 2026 research project that meets NASA's goals? (For some ideas, click here.) With support from the Massachusetts NASA Space Grant Consortium, we may be able to offer a limited number of summer fellowships that could support your work with a mentor for 5 or 10 weeks during Summer 2026:
- Half Summer grant (undergraduate students): $3200 for 200 hours of work (5 weeks, full time)
- Whole Summer grant (undergraduate students): $6400 for 400 hours of work (10 weeks, full time)
Note that your mentor can be a full or part time faculty or staff member.
Expectations:
- Students are expected to meet with their mentor at least once per week.
- Students are required to write a final project report (less than a page) for the MA Space Grant Consortium, and be willing to stay in touch with the organization so they can track their progress.
- Students are expected to present at the Summer symposium and include their work on the externally facing BSU Space Grant page.
Summer 2026 Deadline is Friday, April 24, 2026
