The Sigma Chi Fraternity (ΣΧ) is one of the oldest and largest all-male, college, Greek-letter social fraternities and secret society. The vision of the fraternity is "to become the preeminent collegiate leadership development organization—aligned, focused and living our core values." As of 2024, Sigma Chi has 247 active undergraduate chapters and 152 alumni chapters at colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada and since it's founding on June 28th, 1855 at Miami University (Ohio), Sigma Chi has initiated more than 352,000 men. With such a strong alumni and undergraduate base, the networking possibilities are endless. Sigma Chi brothers have careers ranging from famous actors, athletes, Chief executive officers (CEO) of major corporations, and Professors at elite colleges. Notable Sigma Chi alumni include John Wayne, Brad Pitt, Drew Brees, Ben Savage, Carson Daily, David Letterman, Tom Sellick, Luke Bryan, and many many more. Notable awards received at BSU include Greek Unity (2022), Outstanding Alumni Relations (2023), Outstanding Commitment New Member Development (2023), and Most Improved Chapter GPA (2023).
