Active Minds at Bridgewater State University is a student run group that promotes mental health awareness. Active Minds works to spread information about mental health along with changing the negative stigma surrounding mental illness'. It is a place where people can come and share their stories and realize that they are not alone with their struggles.The club will also hold events throughout the year and raise money for different organizations that help with mental health awareness.

American Cancer Society On Campus is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by working to implement and programs and mission of the American Cancer Society. Bridgewater State University's chapter of ACS On Campus teams up with the American Cancer Society to help raise money and awareness for ACS as well as plan the annual Relay For Life Event that is held every Spring semester in the Adrian Tinsley Center.

Mission: The American Cancer Society's Mission is to "Save lives, celebrate lives, and to lead the fight for a world without cancer."

We are a student led group committed to community service, both on and off campus. Founded to help run the on-campus Food Pantry, we have remained committed to fundraising, collecting food donations, maintaining the Food Pantry, and applying our creativity toward enhancing and expanding the Food Pantry to feed the overlooked and food insecure population of our peers. Over the years, we have also began to expand into other areas of social justice, including homelessness awareness, and also expanding our reach to outside of the BSU community. This club welcomes all interested in learning about and pursuing their passion for community service in a fun and friendly environment.

Are you an aspiring educator? Do you want to meet fellow students in your major? Are you interested in boosting your resume and professional teaching portfolio? Would you like more hands on experience with children and teaching? Do you feel you can make a difference at BSU and in the community? Join the Student Education Association of Massachusetts (SEAM)!

SEAM is open to all students in any education field at BSU. We host events both on campus and state wide. We have been extremely successful in sponsoring workshops, professional development seminars, mentoring programs, and providing students an opportunity to connect with other BSU students interested in teaching. Our events provide great RESUME BOOSTERS for your professional teaching portfolio and resume. Meetings and events are held for SEAM members to connect, learn, and have fun!

The purposes of this organization are as follows:
To increase visibility of queer-identifying individuals in leadership positions on campus.
To validate the queer voice on campus through demonstrating cross-organizational support and presence of queer leadership.
To oversee and implement queer student programming on campus, both independently and in collaboration with other student organizations and university institutions.
To coordinate queer student and alumni outreach both independently and on behalf of members' respective organizations.
To liaise with university faculty, staff, and administrative leadership on behalf of queer student leaders and the queer student body.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is a student body dedicated to serving the collective interests of the Bridgewater State University community, preparing the community for effective living in a democratic society, advocating for the students' rights and needs, and encouraging self-reliance in the Association's search for truth and justice.

The Student Government Association of Bridgewater State University was founded in order to fulfill the following purposes:
• To provide the means whereby the members of the Student Body may express themselves effectively in the programs of the University, which directly affect their intellectual, social, economic, physical, and spiritual welfare.
• To promote better citizenship by developing and promoting student responsibility and by providing practice in democratic living.
• To coordinate and regulate the activities of student organizations for the benefit of the entire educational community.
• To fairly distribute and oversee the mandatory Student Support Fee.
• To provide meaningful social and educational co-curricular programs through SGA funded groups and organizations, in addition to our own programming.

People are suffering from disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, terrorist attacks, wars, and climate catastrophes caused by climate change. They are in need of our help.
