Expectations:
- Students are expected to work several hours a week for a whole semester (~4 hours per week for 15 weeks) on their project. They will be paid $900 for this work.

In consultation with their mentor, students will engage in a 1 semester research project that meets NASA's goals. Examples of acceptable courses include:
- BIOL 396: Research Problems in Physics
- CHEM 390: Research Problems in Chemistry
- PHYS 396: Research Problems in Physics
- Any semester long honors thesis section
- Note: at this time, semester grants cannot be used for a project embedded in an existing course.
- Students will meet with their mentor each week.
- Students are required to write a final project report for the MA Space Grant Consortium, and be willing to stay in touch with the organization so they can track their progress.
- Students are expected to present at the Midyear symposium in the fall or the StARS event in the spring.
- Student pay will be mailed at the end of the semester and after the project report has been submitted.
