Opening Day 2024

The day before classes start is a great opportunity to finalize last minute details before the semester begins. For all new students we highly recommend that you participate in the programs being offered. Below you can read short descriptions of each, and click the link to register for the program. Registration for these events is NOT required. By registering it will add it to your personal list of events on EngageBSU.

  • AAC Carnival

    10am-2pm - Rondileau Student Union Fountain Lawn (Near Scott Hall) - Register Here

    Join the Academic Achievement Center for carnival games, carnival foods, a dunk tank and much more!

  • Welcome to the Max

    10am-2pm - Maxwell Library - All Floors - Register Here

    Join us on the first floor near the Circ/Ref Desks to learn about our services, resources, and collections, take a tour of the library, meet library staff, and enjoy some snacks. Afterwards, head to the IT Help Desk on the ground floor to meet with IT staff who will highlight their services and resources and assist you with technology issues.

  • Involvement Fair

    11am-2pm - University Park - Register Here

    This is where student organizations, club sports and departments will be in one place to talk to students about what they do. This is a time for students to see what BSU has to offer and see if they want to join a organization. There will also be outside businesses there so students can see some local businesses around BSU and what the town of Bridgewater has to offer.

  • Part-Time Job Fair

    Come to BSU's inaugural Part-Time Job Fair!!! This event is a great way to find a part-time job at companies that could potentially offer long-term career prospects! BSU students of all class years are encouraged to attend! Don't miss this opportunity to network with employers in a variety of industries! 
    No need to a bring a resume or dress professionally - come as you are for the day of fund and festivities taking place on campus!
