The BSU Mobile App

The BSU Mobile App is a platform for students to connect with one another, and to get quick access to information and resources designed to help you succeed! You can view your class schedule, utilize the calendar tool, join various community channels, browse campus resources, and more!

How do I join a channel on the BSU Mobile App?

  • Open the app on your mobile device.
  • Tap the thought bubble icon on the bottom menu of the homepage.
  • From there, tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen to show the navigation sidebar.
  • Tap Find A Channel. You can then search for the name of the channel you are hoping to join.
  • Tap the channel name to view details.

Can I create my own channel in the BSU Mobile App?

Yes! BSU Community members may use this form to submit a request to create a channel for a specialized purpose.

Currently Available Channels

  • BSU Announcements

    Campus services and offices will use this channel to post announcements to students about events, important reminders, and more!

    All users will automatically be added to this channel.

  • BSU Community

    As a replacement for the archived community wall, this channel will give space for members of the BSU community to digitally connect with one another. Users will have to join this channel on their own to create posts and respond to other user's posts.

    Please note, this channel will not be monitored for questions by BSU staff - you should navigate to the Got Questions channel if you are looking for an official response!

  • Got Questions

    This channel is for members of the BSU Community to post questions that assist in their success at BSU. Questions will be responded to by a member of the staff within two business days, and may include an opportunity to follow up directly with a department or service on campus.

    All users will be automatically added to this channel. Throughout the year, Got Questions offers some in-person programming as well. Click here for more information.

  • Coming soon - Students Living On-Campus

    A channel for students who are living on-campus to connect with each other. Users must join the channel on their own to post content and respond to posts.

  • Coming soon - Students Living Off-Campus

    A channel for students who are living off-campus to connect with each other. Users must join the channel on their own to post content and respond to posts.

  • Creating Study Groups

    A channel for members of the BSU community to post about creating study groups. Users must join this channel on their own to post content and respond to posts.

  • Coming soon - New to BSU

    A channel for new to BSU students to connect with their peers. Users must join this channel on their own to post content and respond to posts.

  • Psychology Department Announcements

    A channel is used by the Psychology department to post announcements relevant to students majoring or minoring in psychology, or those who have an interest in their events and programs. Users must join this channel on their own to view the announcements.

  • Honors Program Announcements

    A channel is used by the Honors Program to post announcements relevant to students in the Honors program. Honors students are automatically added to this channel.

  • Ride-Sharing

    A channel is for members of the BSU community looking to make arrangements for ride sharing to and from campus. Users must join this channel on their own in order to post content and respond to posts.

  • Roomates

    A channel for members of the BSU Community looking for roommates. Users must join this channel on their own to post content and respond to posts.

  • Bristaco's Trading Post

    A channel for members of the BSU community to exchange items with each other. Users must join this channel on their own to post content and respond to posts.

  • Lost and Found

    A channel for members of the BSU community to post lost and found items. Users must join this channel on their own to post content and respond to posts.
