The Provisional Student Organization Status is designed to support student organizations that do not meet the required standards for active membership or engagement. This status provides a structured improvement plan with oversight, support, and evaluation before any final determination about an organization's future on campus is made.
II. Definition of Provisional Status
A student organization may be placed on Provisional Status if it:

Fails to meet the minimum requirements for membership or engagement.

Does not comply with university or CSE policies.

Experiences extended inactivity or internal organizational issues.
Organizations may also self-elect into Provisional Status to improve their operations proactively.
