Mission Are you an aspiring educator? Do you want to meet fellow students in your major? Are you interested in boosting your resume and professional teaching portfolio? Would you like more hands on experience with children and teaching? Do you feel you can make a difference at BSU and in the community? Join the Student Education Association of Massachusetts (SEAM)! SEAM is open to all students in any education field at BSU. We host events both on campus and state wide. We have been extremely successful in sponsoring workshops, professional development seminars, mentoring programs, and providing students an opportunity to connect with other BSU students interested in teaching. Our events provide great RESUME BOOSTERS for your professional teaching portfolio and resume. Meetings and events are held for SEAM members to connect, learn, and have fun! Events hosted by SEAM may include: Professional development opportunities Community service projects MTEL preparation workshops Mentoring programs Northeast Regional Conference Just For New Teachers Conference Pre-Service Teachers Conference Student Leadership Conference Universal Children's Day And more!
