This Philosophy Club meeting will be focused on the topic of generative and agentic AI, including the ethics of image and video generation, rapidly advancing technology, and potential problems in the future with the current status of AI in the context of current controversies such as cyberattacks by OpenAI agents and OpenAI's release of mathematical papers generated by AI.

The purpose of the Philosophy Club is to provide a forum for open discussion of ideas and dialogue among peers interested in philosophical thought. Our goal is to increase the breadth and depth of the educational experience for students of philosophy at BSU, enhance and supplement classroom learning, engage students in intellectual conversation and debate, and act as a bridge for communication between and among philosophy students, faculty, and guest lecturers.
We are a club for all students interested in philosophy, we do not restrict to just majors/minors in the subject.
Meetings weekly on Wednesdays at 5 pm.
