Hello! I'm looking to start a Music Club next semester! I'm from Lawrence and the music clubhouse there was a big part of my childhood. Here's some more info on it: https://mvymca.org/program/lawrence-ymca-music-clubhouse/. There, kids can come in play whatever musical instruments they want, they can also sing, rap, or just hangout. I want to do the same thing here in BSU at the Moakley Center Lecture Hall except for the lessons or teaching. For the jam sessions, however, musical instruments will not be provided to you. For these jam sessions, bring your own instruments, or rap/sing or just hang out and talk about/listen to music. Also, think of these jam sessions as open-mic performances but improvisational, less stressful and more freedom to collaborate. Below is a google form survey I created last semester for student feedback.
