Join the Martin Richard Institute for Social Justice for an on-campus service project in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in multiple service projects over the course of the afternoon, all in the RSU large ballroom. 

The projects will contribute to ongoing efforts to support local non profits, School on Wheels, Old Colony YMCA, and more!

Service projects include:  

  • Packing school supplies for K-6 students experiencing homelessness
  • Writing postcards to local seniors receiving Meals on Wheels
  • Packing bagged lunches to support people facing food insecurity
  • Assembling DIY craft kits for youth ages 0-10 living in transitional housing.
  • Creating blank activity books for the pediatric unit of Brockton Hospital.  
Registration will close at 4:30pm on Friday, January 20th. If you would like to register after this time, please email lmulvey@bridgew.edu.
