One of the many advantages of living in BSU’s residence halls is the support and guidance of your student's IT team! The ResNet staff takes your student's education seriously and they are here to help your student access and use technology to enhance their academic experiences and performance.
What We Do
BSU’s residence halls are 100% wireless. ResNet provides technical support and services to all on-campus students, including but not limited to:

- BSU residence halls are 100% wireless
- Wired ethernet ports are available upon request
- A wireless gaming network is available to all residents

Wepa printing kiosks
- Printers are available in every residence hall with additional access in academic buildings

Streaming Services
- ResNet Cinema: Residents can stream recently released movies and TV shows anywhere on campus.
- Xfinity on Campus: An online streaming service that allows resident students to stream 100+ live TV channels, watch on-demand videos, and utilize 2-hours of DVR storage

BSU Discord Server
- You can game 24/7 and make friends in a growing online BSU community of over 90 bears!
- Not a gamer? Watch parties are also hosted here for resident students to watch movies and chat together
How We Help
We provide support via walkup service at the IT Service Center or at our ResNet workstations in the residence halls, at the IT Service Center, ResNet Zoom Room, phone calls, chats, emails, and more.
The most common approach is to simply schedule an appointment for a ResNet Support Representative to visit your student in their residence hall at a time that is convenient for them.
Cost
ResNet support and services are paid automatically per semester through a $180 ResNet fee.
