Open to students, faculty and staff. Working with traditional materials connects us to our roots and can help us turn inward to “hear” our own thoughts and be more mindful. Join us for an interactive program connecting across difference through storytelling and making our own corn husk dolls. Supplies will be provided and refreshments will be provided. Open to all.

*Faculty and Staff this counts towards the Equity Champions Program - Tier of your Choice.

About Racial Healing and HeartWork Series:
Racial healing is at the heart of racial equity work, and we can do the most good when we take time for cultural wellness and community care practices. Initiatives are centered on finding balance and restoring trust as we underscore the presence of racial trauma, Black-Tax, and emotional labor experienced by our employees (across all identities) that work every day to make our university a more equitable place.
