We’ve all heard it—or maybe even said it—“I didn’t mean it like that.”
But impact hits different.

Please Don’t Touch My Hair is an interactive workshop that unpacks the everyday comments, gestures, and assumptions—called microaggressions—that can leave a lasting mark. Together, we’ll explore what microaggressions are, how to recognize them when they happen, and what to do when we witness or commit them.

Through conversation, reflection, and real examples, students will learn how to:
