During our biweekly Afro Am meetings, we host programs and discussions centered around topics that impact minority students, our communities, and our families. Each meeting focuses on something meaningful, from mental health, stigmas, stereotypes, racism, and self‑care, to navigating life at a PWI, celebrating our accomplishments, unpacking our struggles, and talking about what we’re experiencing in real time.

We also run events that connect to these themes or simply bring us together in community. Overall, our meetings are a space to discuss, learn, and share information in an environment that’s supportive, engaging, and fun. It’s a great place to build connections, have real conversations, and meet new people.

Our space is open to everyone!!
No matter who you are, you’re welcome to come hang out, learn with us, and be part of the community.

Biweekly, you can always expect an opportunity to meet, mingle, have fun, and get educated with Afro Am.
